It is a sad day to hear and witness the death of our hero, father and friend Abdulahi Haji Hassan Gababa. He was a dreamer and above all a Gharri freedom fighter who spent his entire adult life protecting the Gharri people. To me, he is an unsung hero and his life will not be in vain. He was one of the founders of the Galla Sidamo Liberation Front and the Somali Abbo Liberation Front. The freedom that our people are enjoying today in Moyale and across the Gharri region happened because of his lifelong struggle that he and others endured. We have lost a son, brother, father, uncle, Nephew, cousin, friend, and genuine compatriot. He was an inspiration and one of the best people among the Gharri in his generation. Above all, he was undoubtedly a selfless hero. Therefore, let us celebrate the contributions that he made for our people and keep his legacy alive. 

May Allah bless his soul and offer him the best after life, and also offer his beloved sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, Cousins, and the entire Gharri people that he served ease their sorrow. May he rest in peace.
