The Liban and Afdher Zones administrators are under heavy scrutiny in Argele. a group of three high-ranking kilil5 official have been reviewing evidences and hearing all  confessions called “Gamgama” which is a self-incriminating confession by the accused. However, most of the Liban Zone administrators are new and went under heavier “gamgama” last year none of them are believed to have faced any disciplinary action. But, the Afdher Zonal administrators may face stiff penalties and including a discharge of duties.

 The former speaker of the house of representative’s wife Sara Ali and her co-defendant’s case has been brought to court in Jigjiga, Kilil5. Mrs. Ali’s case hearing has been completed. All witnesses have been questioned and their testimony have been recorded and both sides have rested their arguments, but judgment will be rendered at a later date after completion of the co-defendant Mr. Mohamud Ahmed’s case, which began today April 9, 2007. So, we will inform you as soon as latest information becomes available to us.

 Also, one innocent Marehan individual was executed in Dolo on April 08, 2007 for the crime allegedly committed by his brother against the Degody tribesman earlier in Mandera. This latest killing is believed to be dangerous as it is inhuman to kill an innocent man for a crime they know he has not committed. So, the Marehan clansmen and other peace loving people across the region have denounced the kill. Also, the Marehan clansmen are threatening to retaliate against the Degody soon. But, it is not known if they will carryout their threats.
