The Gharri Community Of North America (GCONA) Board of Directors hereby sending a heart felt thanks to those brothers in Chicago who host the Gharri Community of North America 3^rd annual conference. 

        They did a remarkable job despite many obstacles, including verbal threats and intimidation by confused individuals. So, we thank them for their outstanding job. Special thanks to Brother Daud A. Salad, Brother Ahmed Abdulqadir, and Brother Mohamednur Haji Abdi. Secondly we thanks Honorable Bellow Kerow, the Mandera Central MP, who sacrificed so much and took time off from his busy schedules to accommodate us. Also, we thank those brothers and sisters who came to the conference and those brothers and sisters who did not come but supported our efforts. Thanks Again.

       Also, may I say shame on you, for those who relentlessly worked day and nights calling unsuspecting brothers and sisters spreading poisonous propaganda convincing them not to attend the Gharri conference.  So, let us recognize them too as those who failed their community and our conference was a great success.
