Breaking news from Moyale, Dawa ZONE

On Thursday November 29, 2016, large numbers of the Degodia militia along with their herders forced themselves into Dawa Zone, and set up an ambush near Arbale, Chilako district. A local Garri resident attempted to go and talk with them but, the Degodia gunmen opened fire, shooting Mr. Suleyman Ibrahim. He was a lucky that the bullets missed his heart and instead went in between his chest and shoulder. The injured victim was brought to Moyale and surgery was performed. Several bullets were removed and now he is in stable condition.
